Mobile Sweepstakes Casinos 2026: Best iOS & Android Apps

Tested on real devices. App store ratings, SC features, and load times compared.

Ryan Mitchell Ryan Mitchell, Sweepstakes Casino Analyst | Updated April 2026

Most sweepstakes casino players do the majority of their playing on a phone. The daily login bonus takes 10 seconds. Flash promotions show up as push notifications. If the mobile experience is bad, you miss money.

We tested seven platforms on iPhone and Android. Here is what separates the good mobile apps from the frustrating ones.

iOS: The Stronger Mobile Experience

iPhone players have it easier. Pulsz, Crown Coins, Fortune Coins, McLuck, and Chumba Casino are all available on the App Store. That means one-tap install, automatic updates, and Touch ID or Face ID login.

Pulsz has the highest iOS rating at 4.6 stars from over 15,000 reviews. The interface loads in under 2 seconds on an iPhone 14. The daily SC button is front-and-center on the home screen. We collected our daily 0.5 SC in under 8 seconds from unlock to confirmation.

Crown Coins is close behind at 4.4 stars. The lobby organization is better than Pulsz on mobile. Games are filtered by category, and SC balance is always visible in the top bar.

Android: APK Downloads Required

Google Play does not allow sweepstakes casino apps. The reason is their policy on apps involving simulated gambling. The platforms that want Android users have to go around this via direct APK downloads from their own websites.

How to install a sweepstakes casino APK on Android: Go to the platform's official website on your Android browser. Find the "Download App" link. Before installing, go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources and enable it. Download the APK, tap to install. The feature is called "Install unknown apps" on Android 8+.

Pulsz, Crown Coins, and McLuck all provide direct APK downloads. We installed all three on a Samsung Galaxy S23 without issues. The experience matches the iOS version closely.

Fortune Coins and Chumba Casino do not have Android APKs. They rely on a browser-based mobile version. Chrome on Android handles them fine, but you miss push notifications for flash promos.

Progressive Web Apps: WOW Vegas and Stake.us

WOW Vegas and Stake.us use progressive web apps instead of native installs. On iPhone, you go to the site in Safari, tap Share, and select "Add to Home Screen." The icon appears on your home screen and opens in a full-screen experience that looks like a native app.

The advantage is no app store approval required. The disadvantage is no native push notifications on iOS (Apple restricts this for PWAs in some regions) and slightly slower initial load.

For Stake.us specifically, the PWA works well. Load time from home screen tap to playable game was 4 seconds on average. All 500+ games are accessible. SC balance and daily rewards work identically to desktop.

Mobile-Specific Features Worth Knowing

  • Push notifications: Pulsz and Crown Coins send alerts for flash SC promotions. Enable these. Missing a 2 SC flash offer because your app was silent is a recurring complaint in player reviews.
  • Landscape mode: Most slot games play in portrait. Table games generally require landscape. Chumba Casino has the best landscape table game implementation among the apps we tested.
  • Data usage: Slot games use around 5-10MB per hour on average. Live streaming-style table games use more. Play on Wi-Fi if you are on a capped data plan.
  • Battery drain: 3D slot titles drain battery faster. Fortune Coins' library skews toward lower-intensity games that run 30-40% longer per charge.

App vs Browser: Which to Use

If a native app is available, use it. App-specific bonuses appear on several platforms. Pulsz occasionally runs app-only SC promotions not visible on the web version. The notification support alone is worth the install.

For platforms without a native app (WOW Vegas, Stake.us), the browser experience is acceptable but not optimal. Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS both handle the PWA approach well.
